I Can't Be Bothered

I seem to be going through an ‘I can’t be bothered’ phase when it comes to dressing for work. Maybe it’s the change of season, I’m sick of all my summer clothes and it’s not quite cool enough to bring out the winter gear just yet. It’s not that I don’t want to look nice for work, it’s just that I can’t be bothered wearing anything that is even vaguely restricting or uncomfortable in any way.

So I’ve been falling back on some classics, like the basic black dress I wore a few weeks ago, and also this wrap dress. It’s stretchy, it’s patterned and it’s only one piece of clothing, so I can literally throw it on and walk out the door. Hello work-wear heaven!

  1. If that's your "can't be bothered" work look, you're doing alright! I have sometimes got into town and hated my CBB outfit so much (by the time I've got to feeling the day) that I've gone into the "emergency shop" (a cheapy chain store that opens at 7.30 for fashion emergencies) and bought a whole new outfit, worn out of the changeroom!

    1. hahaha that's amazing! I've bought things on my lunch break before and worn them straight out of the shop, normally it's because I've spilt something on my original outfit and urgently need a costume change!
